Performance and Selection
1. Design parameters:
1) Standard working conditions: inlet water temperature t1 = 37 ℃, outlet water temperature t2 = 32 ℃, design wet bulb temperature τ = 28 ℃, I .e. water temperature Δt = 5 ℃, cold amplitude high t2-τ = 5 ℃
2) Medium temperature condition: inlet water temperature t1 = 43 ℃, outlet water temperature t2 = 33 ℃, design wet bulb temperature τ = 28 ℃, I .e. water temperature Δt = 10 ℃, cold amplitude high t2-τ = 6 ℃

Structural features
(1) Tower body: reasonable line, stable airflow, excellent material, bright colors, surface gel coat resin containing anti-ultraviolet agent, aging resistance, high strength, light weight, corrosion resistance. According to the requirements of the order, the lower tower body can be equipped with overflow water, sewage and automatic water supply pipes, which can directly absorb water from this place, thus eliminating the cooling pool. The upper part is equipped with an anti-noise muffler pad, which effectively reduces the dripping sound.

(3) Rotating water distributor and water distribution pipe: it is equipped with bearings, flexible and reliable operation, low water head and uniform water distribution. The water distribution pipe made of aluminum alloy or glass fiber reinforced plastic is used, and the water collection plate is installed on the pipe to overcome the phenomenon of floating water.
(4) Fan: The low-noise, high-efficiency fan designed by the Department of Engineering Mechanics of Tsinghua University according to the parameters of the series of cooling towers, aluminum alloy plate airfoil or glass fiber reinforced plastic blades, low noise and high efficiency.
(5) Motor: The low-noise energy-saving motor designed for the cooling tower by the Department of Electrical Machinery of Tsinghua University on the basis of the Y-series installation size, has good sealing and waterproof performance, high temperature resistance, high efficiency and low noise.
(6) Reduction device: The planetary gear reducer is not easy to damage, and the later maintenance is convenient.
(7) Air inlet window: equipped with glass fiber reinforced plastic louvers to reduce floating water and low airflow resistance, which is especially suitable for units that need to use cooling towers in northern areas and throughout the year.
(8) Bracket: all steel brackets for fans, fillers, air inlet windows, tower bodies, etc. are assembled, galvanized or painted for corrosion prevention. Fasteners are made of galvanized or stainless steel bolts.
Instructions for Installation, Commissioning and Use
1. The basic drawing and installation dimensions in this manual are for reference during installation. The direction of the inlet and outlet pipes of the small counterflow tower can be arbitrarily selected in the horizontal position, but it must not collide with the foundation. If there is a foundation in the middle, the load shall be 25% of the operating weight, and the remaining 75% shall be borne by the peripheral rectangular foundation on average. For example, the additional pressure caused by the load shall be considered for roof installation.
2. The connection between the cooling tower and the inlet and outlet pipes should be provided with a bracket to prevent excessive weight from pressing on the tower wall.
3, fan blades should be adjusted before installation and use to keep the angle consistent. The method is to make a mark on the front and rear edges of each blade at 150mm between the leaves, and then measure the distance between the front and rear edges of each blade respectively by the lower chord of the bracket to calculate the height difference between the front and rear edges of each blade. 4. Seal the junction box after the motor is wired, and pay attention to the current test value not exceeding the motor load current.
5. When starting the cooling tower, the water pump must be turned on first and then the fan must be turned on. It is not allowed to run the fan without water drenching. The fan can reverse at low speed for a short time to eliminate ice.
6, the reducer should be filled with oil before use, can be lubricated with No. 50 anti-wear gear oil or engine oil, the initial operation of 100-300 hours should be replaced with new oil, after each operation of 3000-5000 hours to change oil. The oil level should be moderate and the oil mark should be easy to observe.
7. When the cooling tower is running, it should be managed by a special person, pay attention to the changes of current and water temperature, and regularly check the motor, reducer, water distributor, etc.
